Recording from a CDJ to computer

Hello, a slight different problem from my last post but I am still having trouble recording a mix.

CDJ-900 (x2) and DJM-250

Basically to record a mix I have this setup

CDJ to MIXER to COMPUTER (LINE IN) / COMPUTER (LINE OUT) to SPEAKERS

This works fine for the recording, and the mixer and CDJ interact with the computer perfectly. However I can not get the audio to play out loud when I am DJing.

So it records fine, but I can't hear anything when DJing. I am assuming this is due to the fact that when the I don't have the CDJ hooked to the computer I need to swap the front speakers out on my subwoofer with the RCA cable from my mixer. The CDJ and MIXER don't know where to output the music because it is plugged in the line in and not the subwoofer.

Its kinda of hard to explain but I hope you understand. Thanks for any help

@Ashley > As @Jay mentioned, the DJM-250 has two master outputs -- the XLR and RCA. You can use them simultaneously. He is suggesting you get an XLR to RCA (or dual XLR to stereo minijack) adapter to send the master output from the XLRs to the computer, and then connect the master output from the RCAs to the speakers.

Either that or configure your recording software to "monitor" so you can hear the incoming audio as an output.

Why not get a XLR to RCA adaptor and then plug the master out 1 to the speakers and the Master out 2 to the computer y=to record?

Dont think that will work because the computer needs to be hooked up to the subwoofer (aka the power and connections for all speakers)
