Question about samples with RBDJ DDJ-RX

Hi all!

To explain the situation first:

I used RBDJ Trial on my work laptop to see how it worked and I still use it at work for organizing.

Now I bought the DDJ-RX which came with RBDJ and installed AND licenced it on my SurfacePro 3 i5 and it works good, BUT here's the deal..

Since I licenced RBDJ on the Surface, my laptop keeps getting an error, which is fine. I checked the .log file for this error and it says something like horn.wav, siren.wav etc. can't be found. Now I haven't checked it, but I assume they are samplesounds which came with the Trial version.

Today I was looking for those while playing with my DDJ-RX and the licenced version of RB which doesn't give any error so a assume again, these are the samples which came with RBDJ.

Can anyone tell me how to access these samples? Because I can't access them from my controller or within RekordBox itself.

Many thanks in advance!

Those are the QSC samples that come with Rekordbox and the DDJ-RZ.  They might exist in the collection, try looking there.

Wow that was really fast! No, I haven't checked my collection for that, but I will in a couple of days after Christmas and such. But I'll check that as soon as I can!

Can I use them on the DDJ RX as well?

Is there a way to record loops as samples? I've been trying to use the rec button on DDJ RX and then save, but it is not working. Could you please provide a guide in how to do it?

Thanks!

@Pep > No, you have to record / edit your own samples and loops, but you can load entire songs into the sampler banks if you like.

@Pep. Yes you can, Pulse is mistaken. Or perhaps its a new feature. Look in the rb manual section 5.11. It's also in the DDJ-RX manual
