latency and analysis

I'm new to the controller world and agree with Pioneer at the beginning of Rekordbox that laptop should not be in the dj booth. After using my 3 cdj 2000 and 1 djm 2000 mixer I decided to get the DDJ RZ controller because of the sound quality and always wanting to learn. This is the first time i've had to rely on a laptop and noticed a few things instantly when I first setup the controller. One issue was a delay with hot cue and the pitch not has accurate as my CDJ's.

After asking other dj's I believe my controller is working at it's best but have a few questions:

What is the ideal latency setting? (My Mac Pro is 2.6 ghz -i7- 16G - 1 TB SSD and I have is set at 1.5 ms.)

What is the best Track Analysis? Normal or Dynamic?

Thanks everyone in advance!

Your buffer/latency setting should be as LOW as possible without encountering any audio glitches or dropouts. Should you experience those, adjust it to a higher value and try again.

As for analysis mode, it should be set to NORMAL if you are analysing tracks with consistent (electronic) percussion - a consistent beat, but DYNAMIC mode if you have tracks with live drummers where the beat length can vary even slightly.
