[SOLVED] Pioneer CDJ350W with VirtualDj Pro 7
Greetings to everyone. I just recently bought a pair of cdj350w and its awesome by the way. Yesterday i hooked up both players via usb to the laptop to run the vdj7 and it installed everything fine. But one problem, both players showing 01 and not 01 and 02 independently. So when i play one track on the laptop, both players playing the same track. May i know why? Thank god i had my cd bag with me as this setup failed. And whenever playing tracks only on one player, the sound vanishes after few minutes. I had to restart the laptop and it works again.
In vdj setup, sound setup is as follow:
Inputs: None
Outputs: External Mixer: Deck1 : First card / Deck 2 : Second card
Sound card: 2 cards and the selection i choose cdj350 and cdj350 1
Laptop specifications: Intel C2D 2.10GHZ, 3GB Ram
Pioneer CDJ Asio Settings: Buffer size is 512, bit depth is 24 bit and kernel buffers are set to 3
Someone please help and contribute some valuable inputs so that i can settle this issue. If possible, please provide me a complete setup on how to setup the cdj350w's to the laptop. Inputs are highly appreciated.
PS: Hoping some valuable inputs from Pulse and Gavin too.

Check the utility menu, and check the midi channels on each player you need one to be midi channel 1 and the other on midi channel 2

DJ-Ric, i did that too. Ive set both deck 1 and 2 respectively via the utility menu. But when i switch to HID mode, Both players still stuck at number 02. Why?

On vdj go to the mapper section and re asing deck one left and deck right two

And yes since cdj350 its a cheap player nobody cares to answer that ... This is how Pioneer treat his customers they dont care at all

Gavin and Dj Cosmic, thank you very much for the valuable inputs. After much Google searches, i manage to set it up and its up and working now. Its just that im having problem with the display time running. It seems like lagging instead of running smoothly. Is this normal when connected to VDJ? When play cds, its running smoothly but only when connected to VDJ, its lagging and running like its crazy. I hope there's a workaround for this. And one more thing. Why songs are jerking when playback on and off? My laptop specs is perfectly fine and im using the latest version of vdj pro with license. Jerking like the track is spoiled. But the tracks are perfectly fine when play directly.

Hello krish im not a vdj fan ive used this gear three times with vdj on a macbook pro i5 4gb of ram and my only complain is the accuracy of the pitch bar and sometimes i noticdd a little bit of lag on cue snd play buttons
