I hade freeze problem with player one (left player) twice when playing from USB. I have firmware 1.12.
Played a gig on the weekend 4 hour set using iPad linked. Had two freezes while navigating thought the USB. noticed the iPad screen would white out and say loading. The times on the deck would freeze and decks become unresponsive and seemed the buffer ran out and music stopped and had to reboot iPad and unit.

where you find 1.12?
@ John I can see on this page:
http://pioneerdj.com/support/product.php?lang=en&p=XDJ-R1&t=250
Maybe not ready for EU release? Or just that site isn't quite up to date yet.
OK i see the update from that page.
thanks for that.
Hi Pioneer,
here i got the error E-7024 after a firmware update help please . i just bought the machine on saterday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@ger > You've posted to two threads now, both are not your own. Please start a new topic and I'll be happy to help you there rather than piggy-backing on someone else's conversation where the communication can get messy. Thanks!
Hopefully I'm on topic here still @Pulse, please see my last mix recording die on me a couple weeks ago. Am on latest firmware. Can't reproduce this with exact same tracks and playing sequence. Am open to suggestions. Also, this weekend was the first time I 'got it' as far as mixing goes, and after a couple hours I got the exact same error, but using someone else's USB stick. I appreciate it's more than likely something to do with encoding, but as the same tracks are then reloaded after to test this theory, I don't get the same results. As if the machine is having some sort of buffer overflow?
