[Solved] DDJ-RZ No sound out of headphones with headphones level turned up

There is no sound coming out of my headphones with headphones level turned up. I can hear the sound coming out of my speakers connected to my computer.
I also tried mapping the headphones to other outputs and still noting.

Did you press the channel cue button (above the channel fader) and ensure the headphone mix knob is set to the middle?

Yes, sir.
First thing I do after I load a track is hit the CUE buttons for both channels.
I usually have it turned a little more to the left(or CUE side) to but, I've changed both the LEVEL and the MIXING knobs and no dice.

Is your DDJ-RZ on latest firmware? I guess it is 1.06.

Yes.
Prompted me as soon as I plugged in and powered up.

I too have similar issue, I only get cue volume & not master out of headphones, did work when I first set up the RZ today & not since upgrade.

What is the configuration of the audio settings within rekordbox's preferences?

Pulse,
RekordBox 4.02 update prompted me when I started the software.
Let me run that and see if it fixes anything.
I'll post back right away.

@Steve > And you wonder why there's no audio coming out your headphones connected to the RZ? The audio device you have configured for output is the Komplete Audio 6! ;)

Try changing that to the DDJ-RZ.

Mine set to DDJ-RZ, 512 samples, master out L1/R2. Headphones out L3/R4. I cannot hear any master output through headphones on cue mix. reinstalled drivers, firmware & rekordbox, no joy either.

DUHHH... I didn't install the driver.
I had an SZ... you would think I would know better.

Thanks, Pulse. Working now.

@Steve > lol - glad it's working!

@Anthony > I want to make sure you're using it correctly - you have signal on the channel and master meters?

Yes I have sound/signal out of channel, master & booth. when headphone dial turned to cue & activated it works, if I turn headphone dial to master, no sound.

@Anthony > Out of curiosity, have you pressed the CUE button on the master channel (upper right corner of the mixer section) to engage the headphone cueing for the master output?

No, I mean press ONLY the master CUE button and not the others, you should hear the same as what's being output to the master.

If you DESELECT the master CUE (so it's NOT illuminated) and then press one of the channel CUE buttons, you should then hear that audio regardless of the position of the channel fader as it's pre-fader cueing. Can you confirm?

with master cue lit i get main sound & no cue, so the opposite. is this the way it works then?

Yes! If you want both, you have to press both the master and the channel. To mix between them, simply dial the cue mix knob back and forth.

I know it's on their radar, not sure if it will be in the next update, but they are hoping to implement it soon!

OK thank you, it's just coming from Traktor it's frustrating. no plans for DDJ-RZ to get a tsi mapping?

Probably no official mappings from Pioneer or integrated support from NI; you'd need to DIY or find one from another user (IF the RZ is fully MIDI capable, I haven't had the time with it to figure that out).
