xdj 700 vs xdj 1000

Please add support for Traktor on XDJ700 so we can use them as controllers :)

Beat shift ... I'm not 100% sure, I was going off a comparison chart we have and I've just looked at the product and through the manual and I can't figure out that that is.

The Beat Jump allows you to jump the playback forward or back by certain values. If you are in a loop, the Beat Jump buttons become Loop Move, doing the same thing but moving the loop instead of only the current playback position.

Reverse on GUI means there is no physical button for the reverse mode, it's found on the touch-screen instead.

I think the beat jump is pretty key actually.. i need to go look and see if cdj 2000s have that, but its actually one of my favorite features at the moment.

i will stick with the 1000s then over the 700s.

@Devin > The 1000's size makes them my choice over the 700. The CDJ-2000NXS don't have the beat jump, that's only something you'll find on controllers or the XDJ-1000/700 right now.

Will it be possible to have, in next update, beat jump on xdj700?

I am thinking it is  just a pioneer choice (the touch screen is the same).

Sorry, we don't have any information on that at this time.

As the Xdj 700 was released after the 1000: does the 700 have any function the 1000 doesn't have ?

Differences... XDJ-700 has:

- smaller jog
- no on-jog display
- no beat-jump / loop-move
- no vinyl-speed adjust knob
- no beat-shift

Everything else is the same in terms of features and performance.

Nope, no adjustment available at all, sorry.

When it comes to hot cues, what are the options avaliable on the XDJ-1000 & MK2 And how many Hot cues are on the 700 VS the 1000

XDJ-1000 & 700 can use 3 hot cues, the XDJ-1000MK2 can use 4 hot cues in 2 banks (8 total, but only 4 on-screen at a time).
