Have you tried another USB stick? I recognized that the RX is quite particular about USB sticks and the exported media...

How many USB sticks did you have connected? Anything into the USB port on the back of the RX as well? And were you also recording to USB2 as well as reading from it, as this is the only time I have seen that - and my recording also didn't work properly.
@Jacox > What make/model of USB drive are you using and how was it formatted?
Hi all! Sorry for my late response. Issue have been noticied using 2 different SSD hard drive with 2 different box enclosure.
1 - SSD 240 gb Kingston with a FIRE box 3.5 USB3.0
2 - SSD 240 gb Kingston with a HAMLET box 3.5 USB3.0
in the USB2 there are always a 64GB USB dongle from Verbatim USB2.0 (For backup in case of hard disk failure and sometimes to record)
All of my drive are double-formatted on FAT32 with HP format tool, like Pulse suggested.
I have scan all my MP3 with MP3VAL and everything is OK.
I have NO VBR mp3, only CBR.
All the cover on MP3 and M4A are resized and standardized to maximum of 500x500 pixel and JPG format.
...the only thing i haven't tried is to put an external power supply to hard disk. Maybe can resolve?
Thanks!!
@Jacox > Most SSDs require very little power, but there's always a chance they're drawing more power than is provided, I can't say for sure. You could try a "Y" cable to provide power from two USB ports.
Typically the "WAIT" message appears because of a communication issue. Does the message eventually disappear or are you having to reboot?
Which firmware are you using on the XDJ-RX?
Thanks Pulse, i will surely try a Y cable A.S.A.P.
The message appears tipically after 3/4 hours of DJING, and disappear in about 1 minute, never necessary to reboot fortunately. Firmware are the latest 1.80.
Another information for Pulse...on the top of the SSD hard drive, there are power consumption specification: 5V - 1A . I know the XDJ-RX can supply 500ma for each port, maybe could be the definitive solution for me? (Y cable)
Please give it a try and let us know how it works out, it could well be that's what the problem is.
