If you tried to analyze lots of tracks at once, just be
patient and let it do it's job. If not, maybe you have
dynamic analysis on?
I personally have not experienced this issue with 4.0.5
How good is your laptop
I did the update today, and it's just horrible to use... My CPU is always on 100%, and the cause seems to be that, Rekordbox keeps analyzing tracks constantly.
I had today some new tracks to create a new playlist, but the sound keeps getting worst, and I already had to restart the program several times, as it also keeps crashing.
I hope you guys make a fast update to fix this, or at least give us back the last working version.

I use the same settings as before.
My laptop is new and more than capable to deal rekordbox.
Seems I'm not alone on this, as many of my friends are also complaining about similar issues.
I'm using files converted to aiff and it's pretty fast to
analyse. I've done about 12-15 at a time.
maybe it's the file type?
OLAH Dave. Usually, when RB analyze tracks, the RAM memory size is important. Also you can try to defrag your Hard Disk & use the maintenace tools to help your computer.
I hope this help you

I had the same... After RB analyzed all my tracks I switched off auto analyze ( klick on Tracks ). That helped for me.
I have the same problem... anyone knows where is the "DO NOT ANALYZE" mode
Thanks in advance ....
