The reason this is because of the Pioneer DJ company name change. You can use method 2 above, but the engineers recommend also performing a Windows Update to have the latest fixes installed.
If you have a driver error with Win7 and when installed causes a Digital Signature Error (Code 52). You have to DISABLE the Windows Digital Signature option. See Below for 2 methods. Took me 4 hours to figure this out.
Disable Digital Signature in Windows 7, 64 bit
There are two ways to disable it:
Method 1.
Go to Start Menu and type "cmd.exe" in the Search Bar and press <Enter>. (Remember you must be logged on as Administrator)
OR you can go to "All Programs", then "Accessories", right-click on "Command Prompt" and choose "Run as administrator".
bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON
Restart your computer
This will disable your Windows 7 driver signing.
OR
Method 2. (I used this one)
During boot-up, continuously press <F8> to get to Advanced Boot Options. Note: On some systems, you need to first press <F2> to go into Boot Menu, then press <F8> to reach Advanced Boot Options.
When the menu appears, use the DOWN arrow key to scroll to “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement.”
Press <Enter>.
Continue the boot process.
After your computer has completed the boot process, please install the drivers per the included instructions.

Thanks for the info @Rex, I'll be sure to reference this if needed!
Method 2 worked for me!
I don't like to add KB Patches and or Security Patches by Microsoft. Win7 SP1 is stable as is.
PULSE: Can you be specific to what "update" is needed to avoid applying 1,000 patches that are not critical? Also, can't the driver be renamed by Pioneer Engineering and then redistributed so we can avoid this going forward?
Sorry, they've tested it and aren't sure which one specifically causes the problem.
