DJM S9 - Beat-Jump back bug on right deck

Inside Roll mode the S9 has the 4 bottom pads controlling the beat-jump along the bottom.  All works normally except for the beat-jump back (bottom left pad on the right channel.)  When I try to engage that it switches to sampler (user) mode and the screen says "USER MODE 4 - Ch 13 Note 52.”

I assume that means it’s switch to user midi mapping mode.  I only just received the mixer today and a little disappointed at such a glaringly obvious bug.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I'm on the 1.06 firmware, 1.81 Serato DJ, on a macbook pro

I figured it out:

In Serato Setup > Midi panel I had to turn off the "Allow Serato Hardware Remapping" option as well as the "Enable Output Lighting"

I didn't have to delete my midi presets for my Dicers.

Everything appears to be working correctly now.

I spoke too soon.
Now the [1/2x] & [2x] auto-loop buttons on the right deck are switching the pads to User Mode or the [4 Beat Loop] button on the right deck isn't disengaging the loop created if I've used the [1/2x] and/or [2x] button on the loop.

Update:

[1/2x] & [2x]  loop buttons don't seem to switch the pads to User Modes anymore (no idea why that's changed) but when I use the [4 Beat Loop] button to disengage a loop (that's length has been halved or doubled) it changes the loop size to a 4 beat loop before disengaging the loop with a second press of the [4 Beat Loop] button.

Have I got a faulty unit?  Every time I jump on, it's got a new problem.

Update 2:

So it appears that I need to use [shift] + [4 Beat Loop] to disengage a loop (only if I change the size of the loop.)  Is that how it's meant to work? Will that be changed in an update?

Also the the Roll feature on the pads are kinda annoying.  If you push [4 Beat Loop] the roll sizes on the pads move to 1/2, 1, 2, 4.  A 4 beat roll is worthless.  Is there a way to set the Roll size to stay in a useful "bracket."  I know I can use the parameter buttons to move it but it's not conducive to an intuitive environment.

Sorry for all the posts.  I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth keeping this mixer.

Don't worry.  Returning the DJM S9.  My DJM 800 & Dicers seem to work better in my workflow.  I'm gonna miss that crossfader though :(
