XDJ-RX MAC connectivity issue

HI,
Ive downloaded the mac drivers from the Pio website and installed.

When connect my RX to the Mac nothing is happening...Also tried on my windows laptop and still no joy...am i missing something?

Ive connected via USB

To connect to rekordbox over ethernet, you need to ensure your system is configured to allow the traffic through the firewall. See this article for more information on troubleshooting that.

In terms of streaming, you can not capture input audio from the RX as it an output-only interface (sound card). You may try using the master output returned to the internal audio interface of your computer to achieve that.

to connect to Rekordbix with the RX you need to use the Ethernet Cat 5 cable.

connect the cable/ open Rekordbox wait a few seconds and a little icon thingy that says LINK will pop up on the bottom left of Rekordbox. click that and your good to go!

I don't want to connect to rekordbox mate, I want to connect to my macbook so I can stream.

Thanks for your input though mate, Ive connected my RX to the Mac and the LINK button in RB doesn't show up at all!...Think I've got a dud unit!!

I think there are already two other threads concerning the connectivity issues since the last rekorbox update. As far as i know, nobody of the staff answered them yet. Are the engineers aware of the problem? It seems likely that i'm not the only one experiencing these issues. I tried to connect the RX several times now and firewall settings are just fine, but it does not work. Before the RB update it worked.
