my question is simple. i am using my external hard drive and was wondering if there is an option to add rekordbox playlists on it and still use my folders in my hard drive?

Is your music on the external drive, as in all your music? If so just make the external the home for the database then everything will be on the external so if you use another computer with the drive, everything will be there.
no i mean i have a lot of music on my external which is not on rekordbox. i would love to add a few playlist on the same external hard drive. what i am asking is when i create playlists on my external and at some point decide to go to my basic folders can i jump from rekordbox playlists to my basic hard drive folders?
I believe in the CDJ menu you can select Playlists or "folder", Folder obviously being the raw folders you have and playlists obviously being ones you made/exported in Rekordbox
Yes, you will have to make a Rekordbox playlist, export it to the device and as BriChi says call up Folders or Playlist in the menu.
