BSOD in Windows 10 caused by 900nexusAudio64.sys

Currently running

Running 2.10.1 60

two laptops one i5 8gb ram one i7 16gb ram and one desktop...all three get after 10 to 20 minutes blue screen..all is up to date..and all is fresh and clear installation win 10...i owned  two djm900  and can t use their sound cards....i working professional.thanks pioneer...with natives instrument hardware is no problem all night long for 7 to 9 hours..

Still no solution? Do we need to return our pioneer mixers?

DJM-750 drivers started crashing my Windows 10. Start to feel quite disappointed for Pioneers actions with drivers. No 64bit drivers and now this...

Please attach the dmp file of the crashes, if possible.

It will be a great help for us to investigate the crash issue.

Is there an estimate on when updated 64 bit drivers will be available?

Have your engineers been able to pinpoint the root cause of the issues, from the crash dumps that have been provided?

No timeline on 64bit drivers at this moment, but they are investigating the dump files provided. Thanks.

When are Pioneer going to take this matter seriously?   Your customers are suffering.  This is causing huge issues.    We have been patient, but my patience is running out.   If i see signs that you are taking this matter seriously, with regular updates and ETA on fixes, then i will be taking steps to publicise this poor customer service, and also be taking the matter up with consumer rights.

Engineers have been looking into this issue, but it is very difficult to identify the cause of this issue because we have never successfully replicated it on our end.

However, they almost identified the cause and would like ask for your help in some way shortly.

Hi everyone, I have the same issue with the new DJM-900nxs2.

Interesting.  I wonder if Pioneer will sit up and take notice now that their shiny new piece of kit also turns out to be useless.

I wouldn't say any of it's useless, there seem to be more DJs who aren't having problems than the handful who are. Regardless, it's being looked into and hopefully they can find a resolution quickly.

I have a £1500 mixer that i cannot use.  Thats pretty useless in my book.

This thread is 7 months old.    No fix in sight.    No ETA.    No updates  = No confidence with Pioneer products

I modify my message because I try to reinstall Windows 8.1 but my DVD source has problem.

 I have do some new tests. I have use the Cross DJ it crash after +/- 40minutes. Then this is not only a Traktor problem.

Is there anyone who has experience this issue with another version than Windows 10 (ex 7, 8, 8.1)?

i must admit that it is quite tricky. my 850 was running with windows 10 and traktor 2.10.2. for 10h now, nothing happened (cruise mode, i was sleeping :)) i will reboot and retry this since in some sessions it took only a few minutes to get a BSOD.

furthermore i instlalled windows 8.1 on a seperate partition again to make further tests.

I have perform a fresh install of Windows 10 and directly Install Traktor and DJM-900nxs2 drivers. Before my DJM-900NXS2 I used an Audio 10 from Native Instrument and never had any problem.
I had start a new test and after 15 min the PC crash again! I give a quickview on the minidump content, it appears that the driver DJM_900NXS2Audio64 failed :

"An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses"

I also note that others drivers (found on forums djm-900, djm-850) are concerned with the same type of issue.

I too was having this frustrating problem with my DJM850. I use both Traktor and Serato on Win 10 and it worked fine with Serato DVS no problems which led me to believe it was traktor so I ended up stopping using it.

After almost a year I decided to try traktor again as I have a couple of F1's and X1's that were basically useless.I updated Traktor to the latest 2.10.2 and 10 mins in and It crashed Blue screen again.

I tried Paging file fix and that didn't work and was on the brink of a full system reinstall. today I performed a Bios update as a last ditch attempt and have had traktor running on some long loops all day without a single glitch so I think the Bios update may have done the trick.

one last thing, when I went for the Bios update it said the one installed was the same as the update but I did it anyways.

anyways, hope that helps you guys and I will update this in a week or so once I have seen its reliable

Some positive news.  I have been testing a beta driver for the past few days, and so far, no crashes.   I even had the confidence to do a 2 hour live set on the radio yesterday.   Hopefully pioneer will allow some of you to test also.

I tested the betadriver and no luck. it crashed even faster. So this is not good.

My win10 experience will end. And i will go back to win7.  I am deeply disponent in pioneer. And how this has been handled. Next time i will consider the options when a mixer will be purchased.

Brand new mixer with 2 big flaws is not good. After so many years as a pioneer playing DJ. This might be the last one. 2200 dollars for something that does not meet the standard. The Traktor community is not happy. 

Months is not a good thing in the dj community. Mixes postponed. Turning down gigs. Having to play on other peoples equipment and setups.

So wait, you're going to keep using Pioneer DJ hardware but you're changing the operating system... is the problem really with Pioneer DJ or with changes made in Windows?

I played on Traktor and windows 7 without problems. Never ever had a problem.

So i upgraded my work computer with Windows 10. It runs perfect. No problems.

I upgrade my Traktor laptop. Traktor supports windows 10. Pioneer "supports" Windows 10 or so they say.. And from out of nowhere months of problems starts.

I google the error and find out that users all around the world are having the same problems. Irq error. Not just the 900 but other models from pioneer is the same.

It takes a long time before your staff takes this problem at heart. The Apple fanboys at pioneer make jokes about windows is not the best system for digital djing. This gets deleted by you. But we all know that apple have had its share of problems in world of the digital djing. 

But what do i know. i only bought my 5th mixer from pioneer. Building dj booths for 2 decades in nightclubs in Norway.

The Nexus do also have a problem with wake from sleep. This has also not been fixed.

My DJM Nexus 900 is brand new. But of course will i still use it. I love your mixers. Only in software you managed to make correctly. Man up and pull the driver from the marked. Half assing has never been pioneers style.
