DDJ-SX2 LED Feedback Issues with Serato

So I just got my controller and set it up, And I cannot get any deck light feedback. No level indicators, performance pads or platter LEDs. I've tried moving it to a different USB and got it to work for a brief moment before the lights stops responding . all the controls work fine but the Deck Lights do not. Some will stay lit up and that's it. The platter position indicator will move when I spin the platter, but no rotation animation. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked that the controller is receiving power? It's possible that the DC adapter has failed (or isn't providing adequate power). If you just purchased it, perhaps return it to your retailer and see if they will exchange it or test it for you.

All functions of the deck work control wise. Also no issues when using Traktor software. All lights seems to function fine also when the controller goes into demo mode. I have also tried installing the firmware again, reinstalling the drivers and also 3 versions of Serato.

It could certainly be the unit is defective - please contact your retailer for a replacement. You may want to take your laptop with you to ensure that the problem isn't with your computer.

UPDATE: I connected the controller to Native Instruments Traktor Software and it works flawlessly. not a single problem with any deck light feedback. tested it for several hours. I went back to Serato and tried it again and the same issue. I'd say that rules out it being a hardware issue. Seems to be its a hard to Serato issue. I also went into Utility Mode and swapped it between forced Midi and Not forced, it made no difference what so ever.

@Troy > I'm going to open a ticket with the engineers to see if they can suggest a reason this might be happening.

@Troy > Some questions from the engineers:

1) Is [PC] selected for the INPUT SELECT SW?
2) Is the [HOT CUE] mode button on the right deck lit after the unit is launched in the Utility mode?
( Turn power of the unit on while pressing both [SHIFT] button and [PLAY/PAUSE] button on the left deck in order to enter the Utilities mode.)
3) If you use Mac OS 10.9, open the [Applications] folder in Finder, then double-click the [Audio MIDI Setup] under [Utilities], and display the [MIDI Window].
If you find [USB MIDI Device], click [Remove Device] after selecting it.
(Please disconnect USB cable before above procedure.)

1) Computer OS and its version
2) Computer Spec (Maker, model, CPU and Memory)
3) Do you use a USB hub?
4) Do you use other soundcards than SX2 in the computer at the same time?
5) When SX2 and Serato DJ are connected, does Serato DJ show decks with platter position indicators on its GUI?
6) When SX2 is connected to Serato DJ, it the HOT CUE mode button lit in white?
7) Serato DJ version you use
8) When Slicer is selected in Pad mode, are the LEDs lit?
9) Details of unlit LEDs.
