Trouble shooting would be, try another outlet/make sure the power cord is in securely/try another power cord (typical PC kind).
Please report back.
hi
thanks for replying, I have done all of those and still nothing :(
hows that acceptable though?
I chose pioneer as your meant to be the best around and end up paying 800 pounds for a product that doesn't even work
not good for a first impression
@Olly > It's not acceptable - which is why your retailer will exchange it for you. This happens very seldom. Even though each unit has to pass quality assurance before it leaves the factory, it's possible that the unit was damaged in transit from the factory to the retailer.
It seems I'm experiencing same here. Very annoying, I'm supposed to play on wednesday ! And the retailer isn't really comprehensive, asking me if I did the right setup...
@Pascal > I'm sorry to hear that, have you checked the DC power adaptor is working properly?
Yes, I tested the power adapter with an electrical tester and it gives a constant 5.3 volts. After a few emails, the retailer accepts to exchange the unit but I need to send it back first (of course). I must say my switch from Denon/Traktor is not very happy until now. I hope to have more luck in the future...
Glad to hear the shop will exchange it for you, hopefully that resolves the issue!
The shop has received the faulty item but now, they tell me they cannot send me a new one because they don't have any in stock ! So they will refund me. Alternatievely, I can just wait...
I guess my switch to Pioneer has ended, before its start, thus probably go back to Denon...
