DDJ-SR/WIN7 No Master/Cue output [FIXED]

Good evening everyone and thanks for reading.

After Sleeping/Hibernating/Restarting I cant get any audio again.

Ive had this problem a couple of times already and I am dealing with it again. Apparently the only solution is to uninstall all the drivers (Pioneer DDJSR ASIO Driver - PIONEER DDJSR [Device Manager], and the IDT HD Audio driver) and installing everything again in a certain order.

Also, contrary to other peoples' recomendation; I have to set my default speakers as DISABLED and, the DDJSR as DEFAULT [WIN7 Playback devices] to make it work with Serato.

Although I can hear the "TEST" sound from Windows 7 playback tab on both Master & Cue putputs.

Please help me.

DDJSR Firmware 1.07

Pioneer DDJSR driver 1.00

@Serpo > Do you have Windows 7 updated to the latest version (all patches and hotfixes are applied from the Microsoft Update utility)?

Hi and thanks for replying. No I dont since most of the time these "updates" bring more troubles than fixing them.

Which update is related to this problem? If you could be more specific, please. Thanks again for your reply

Okay, its 2:30 in the morning and Im still dealing with this.

I have found that uninstalling the driver "Pioneer DDJSR Driver 1.00" [Program and Features] and then loading a track on Serato, I do get a Master Output. But, I CAN NOT control the software [Serato].

IF the driver is installed again I DO CAN control the software but there is no audio output.

This is driving me mad, please advise.

Serpo, out.

 UPDATE:

I have finally made it work again; Instructions as follows:

1. Disconnected everything from the PC, including AC Power [For some reason]

2. Uninstalled Pioneer ASIO driver, ASIO4ALL driver [Program & Features]; uninstalled the DDJSR Driver, HD Audio Driver [Device Manager]; Restart

3. Log in; HD Audio installed by itself; Updated it to IDT HD Audio Driver [SP56155/6.10.6381.0]; Restart

4. Installed "Pioneer_DDJ_SR_Driver_1.000.exe"; Restart

5. Plug in Controller [DDJSR] on the near right USB port; Run Serato

6. Serato shows: "NO DJ CONTROLLER", "NO DEF. SOUNDCARD"

7. Turn on the DDJSR

NOTE: Playback tab selected the DDJSR as the default device after being turned & with Serato already open; Exclusive mode on the DDJSR was disabled.
