DDJ-SB2 wont connect to laptop

Brand new, wont connect, dj for 30 years not new to this,

BF sons xmas gift and hasnt been able to use yet. Serato DJ Intro , only flashes turntables on screen breifly then nothing.

Used several different laptops so its not the issue.

What chipset do the laptops have?

Chipset? Never heard of it. I did get it to work today finally!! Uninstalled everything then installed drivers first from Pioneer site then reinstalled Serato DJ Intro and it came right up. Not sure why it worked but he is now using it.

Curious what chipset means.

I tried laptops that do shows every weekend that run Technics turntables and also work with the Numark NS7 and NS7 II. These laptops have never been connected to the internet.

Chipset is the system inside the laptop. On the mother board there is a chipset which kind of interconnects all the various devices and connections inside the laptop. It's ultimately responsible for your USB's which is why djjay asked I'm guessing.

I had murder trying to get mine to connect at first then it just seemed to work and has been fine since !!

Same problem than @robinlozon but didn't worked as he did after unninstalling everything and installing driver first.

More than thousand bucks(BRL) and U$130 in the garbage. Just flashes the turntables on screen breifly and nothing happens.

A billionare company have no idea why this happens?
