In regards to Hot Cues, this has always been how Hot Cues are handled on CDJ's and therefore the technology was carried into the XDJ line.
But, you can accomplish what you are trying to do in a different way. By setting Cue Points to Memory. Here is how to do it.
- Move the playhead to the desired location
- While in Pause mode, press the CUE button to set a cue point
- Now press the MEMORY button
- Repeat this process up to 10 times per track
- Now you can jump to any of the Memory Cues by pressing the Left or Right arrows.
