Kingston DTSE9 G2 128 GB USB won't read on XDJ-RX (One works the other doesn't)

A while ago I bought a Kingston DTSE9 G2 128 GB USB. Initially it wouldn't work with my XDJ-RX but it was due to the formatting. I formatted it using the HP utility and it worked.

I bought a second Kingston DTSE9 G2 128 GB USB (identical to the first), which I formatted the exact same way but it will not read on my XDJ-RX or DJM-350. It works just fine on my PC laptop (Windows 10) and is recognized by Rekordbox.

I would like to the USB to record my live sets but it just won't read on the XDJ-R1 or DJM-350. Is there a solution for this issue?

Have you tried reformatting it again?

Also, please be sure you've update to the latest Firmware, which was released yesterday.

Yes I have tried re-formatting it at least 20 times with different programs and still nothing. I wasn't aware of the new firmware but I will update today and keep you posted.

Thanks!

It's entirely possible the drive has a defect or data error preventing it from being read in the XDJ-R1. You could try running a chkdsk on it, or other 3rd party error checking tool. I would also recommend using a utility to repartition it, ensuring it's FAT32 with a master boot record.
