@Jarno > The XDJ-RX audio interface does not feature an input; it is an output-only device and can not record audio back to the computer from the mic or otherwise.
A few days ago I posted https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/205278313-XDJ-RX-Not-working-as-USB-soundcard-Windows-10- about some problems I experienced in Windows 10.
I thought my problem was solved but there remains one issue: the Mic doesn't appear in the list of recording devices:

So I can not use the XDJ to connect a microphone and record it in Windows 10. How to fix this?

Jarno

@Jarno > The XDJ-RX does not operate this way. You can't record the mic channel without recording all channels.
Hi,
I don't exactly understand what you mean. I don't care whether I have to record all channels or not. But in the recording devices on the PC the XDJ doesn't show up at all.
It thought that if I use the XDJ (only) as an external soundcard, there should be input lines as well, just like any soundcard has both outputs and inputs. For the mic for example. Or what about the input lines for external gear connected to the XDJ.
Are you telling me that in soundcard mode, it is not possible to record the input lines to the PC?
How does the XDJ show up in the recording devices panel of other users?
