Has been requested many times here but seems that nobody in pioneer cares.
This rgb bwave is the selling point of the almighty 2,5k nxs2 on which they spent years and years of development to bring you almost nothing but software features like this :-D You paid for other device hence you are not such a valuable customer deserving such a coding masterpiece bringing this feature.
...thanks for locking this thread as usually :-)
..erm... I am not trolling btw... just trying to pin point this endless absurdity.... :-)
@Marek > When you buy a car, and then the next year the car manufacturer releases an updated model with newer features, do you go to the dealership and demand that they install these new features into your old car? This is not how ANY DJ equipment manufacturer operates.
And yes, by definition you ARE, in fact, trolling. You have done this before. If you continue to do so, your account may be suspended. We appreciate your business and your participation in the forum community but please keep your posts constructive.
Ok Mark. I will stop - I have no intention to make any conflicts - just to get heared... ;-) this is the last think I want to say to this topic:
Just please be aware that we are talking about the consumer electronics and not about cars. I understand your parallel but this is not how it works. Great example might be your cellphone which might be not the latest model but still being updated wit the latest os bringing some new features which are doable on the particular hw. Both my Pushes (mainly the old one) are being maintained by Ableton, my tv is getting updated and even that car gets a new software update for the enterteinment system (of course I am not expecting that someone will replace the motor). And we could on with basically any smarter electronics but not the pioneer one and thats rhe main issue.
All I am trying to explain with every my post of this kind is how terribly wrong this polcy is and how does it feels to be a customer in such situation (having 1 or 2 years old hardware which has basically no future).
I am now done with this topic(s) as promissed. Still hoping someone will open his management mind... :-)
If you own a Tesla or any car for that matter they improve the software without requiring new car purchase. If you charge a premium for your equipment then we customers should expect premium support.
I've spent an absurd amount of time converting all of my music and learning Pioneer workflow moving from Traktor buying into the entire Pioneer echo system so I find this concerning. This functionality would be very helpful to all!
Some of these basic requests should be considered by Pioneer rather than buy our most expensive hardware. The big reason to most purchase XDJ-R1 is to learn the workflow from preparing tracks to mixing.
Don't compare yourself to other DJ equipment companies otherwise customers will treat you like them and not be loyal.
