Hi there!
Loving the DDJ-RX at the moment, great bit of kit and tons of potential there. Today I went on Rekordbox DJ to test my laptop for four-deck mixing. I'm pleased to say it is holding up nicely even with one other program running, so I'm confident in it doing the business once I try it with a clean system!
The quibble I have though on the DDJ-RX is cosmetic so I'm just throwing it out there to see if I'm not alone on this. When using four-deck mixing simultaneously, the jog-dial LEDs do work on three of the decks, but not on deck 1. What I mean is that while all the other LEDs turn smoothly, deck 1's LED is jumping around from place to place. Just to clarify, all jog-dial LEDs work fine either on their ow n, or with 2 or 3 decks - it's just when all 4 decks are in use that the problem occurs.
If you have any info about why this is so, or want more specific info from me please get back to me. Thanks!

Hmmm... that is interesting and not something I've noticed on any other units (or that anyone's complained about). I'll ask the engineers if this is an issue with the software, firmware or perhaps a limitation due to your computer.
Can you tell me which firmware is on the DDJ-RX and what the specs of your computer are?
Thanks for that Pulse! I don't normally have time to go on the controller due to my busy work schedule, so this was the first I saw of it too! My computer specs are as follows:
Windows 8.1 (did upgrade to Windows 10, still had same issue)
Intel® Core™ i5-5200U processor Dual-core 2.20 GHz
39.6 cm (15.6") HD (1366 x 768) 16:9
Intel® HD 5500 with Shared Memory
8 GB, DDR3L SDRAM
1 TB HDD
DDJ-RX Version 1.02
Rekordbox 4.0.6
Thanks for getting back to me so swiftly! Look forward to the engineers' findings. If not, hey! I could always get a microphone and plug it in its place!
Bump
Please don't bump threads; I'm happy to assist but if I haven't replied it's possibly because I'm waiting on information.
Sorry Pulse, just a bit anxious! I'll shut up now...
lol - no worries, just waiting on the engineers to take a look, plus it was over the weekend, so a bit delayed there.
Have you applied all Windows patches through the updater?
I didn't know there were any patches available! I only go by information from the Support hub on the website. As far as I know, this was my first trip on the controller for quite some time, so it has hardly been used. I don't want to feel I've thrown my hard-earned money on something that could be just so trivial.
Windows has updates ALL the time, I just want to eliminate the possibility of it being something there, even though it's the RX which is where you see the glitch.
Oh, those updates! The last update I did was to upgrade to Windows 10, but whether it was Win 8.1 or 10, I had the same issue as shown in my video.
I understand, just trying to get some of the questions I know the engineers might ask out of the way. ;)
But of course Pulse! It's a good job you're here really - my worst case scenario would be clocking up the mileage to take my laptop to every demo stand in every DJ shop in the country! :-)
No fun in that. Let's see what the engineers have to say later this morning in Japan-time (if they get to it today!)
Cheers Pulse!
Hi Pulse, and other DDJ-RX owners!
Sorry to bump this thread again, but I do have good news for those who had similar issues to me, as someone recently commented on my YouTube clip saying they had an LED issue as well. May I be able to say thank you, as the new firmware update (1.03) has FIXED this issue!
Again, thanks Pulse!
Glad to hear that was resolved for you! Thanks for posting back. I've been so busy this morning tackling rekordbox 4.2 questions that I haven't even gotten around to updating the firmware notice threads.
