Sorry, unfortunately I don't see this happening as the databases between applications are not universal (or open).
Hi.
So many of us will need to occasionally play music through other DVS systems. Some clubs have compatible/new Pioneer gear, others don't, but they often have a SL1/2/3/4 hooked up... so to make Rekordbox a professional option and tool, we will need to be able to write data from within RB into the files themselves so they can be used in other music software with the data we generate inside of RB (also, for backup purposes...). BUT, and this is the important bit, neither Serato nor Traktor got right so far either, and why hundreds of people can't wait for Rekordbuddy 2 to be released - make metadata (to file) writing fully customizable, please!
Meaning, I'd want to define what info I create inside RB is written to which field exactly!
i.e. for some it will make sense to write RB "tag" info into the comments field as it's universal. For others, a custom 'TAG' field might make more sense for their workflow... so this matrix what to write where should be freely user definable...
Churs.

And there goes RB's option to be considered as my new central hub. Transferability & not locking myself (or rather the data I work with and create inside of RB) into a corner is mandatory for me.
Shame, as I was looking forward to play around with RekordBox DVS, once it's out...
Cheers.
