Quantize setting on XDJ1000

Is it possible to change the default quantize behaviour from - whole beat (to 1/2 or 1/4 beat) on the XDJ1000?

I've had a look but can't see a way.... Have I missed something or is it unsupported?

When you say "whole beat," do you mean a "whole note" which would essentially be 4 beats (assuming 4/4 time signature)? This would mean the quantize would start only on the "1" beat if I'm understanding you correctly.

As far as I know you can't set this in XDJ. That said, the quantize function snaps quite well to the grid, so you should be able to snap to the beat you want unless you're playing at a Happy Hardcore tempo. ;-)

Hi, no, I meant that it only snaps to single or whole beats. So imagine if I want to hit a hot cue to sample some audio half way between beats or if I wants to drum a hot cue but keeping in time on half or quarter beats. I know the cdj2000nxs2 can do it but not sure if it's poss o on XDJ.

Ah, ok Thanks for the clarification. So you want to be able to have the quantize set to a finer resolution to accommodate situations like, for example, when you're quickly finger drumming on the hot cue(s).

AFAIK, this can't be done from XDJ-1000 (yet), but it's definitely something that should be included.
