Hi,
I am looking to upgrade my DJM900nexus to a DJM 900nxs2 but just wanted to check, is it Traktor certified or will I need to purchase another soundcard to use Traktor with it?
Thanks
Dan

Hi Dan, I don't think there's an official 'traktor certification' with this mixer but I've chipped in on comments on a review site where folk were saying it's not compatible.
As a long time user of traktor till recently I only ever used their hardware so have no experience of what a fully certified mixer offers above the NXS2. However, I can verify (as I tested it before I placed a comment on the review and looked a plonker) that traktor allows you to route your decks out through the DJM-900NXS2 and it was simple to set up alongside the pioneer driver in Mac OSX.
I didn't try to map any buttons to traktor but I know that's a simple process over midi.
If nobody else responds and you want me to test something for you just let me know.
Hi,
Thanks for the responses.
I'm not really sure what you mean. Does anyone have any screen shots or a video showing this in action?
Thanks
Dan

The above FAQ describes the how and the what for the old NXS900. The set up s the same except you'll need the NXS2 driver (so be sure to download that).
The only difference is that you'll not be able to take advantage of Timecode vinyl or CD's (DVS) so you'll need some way to control the decks transport (play/cue/pitch etc.)
I don't have a vid or pics but I assure you it worked for me last night on my NXS2. The link attached will get you to the point where you have decks playing out of your mixer.
^^ This worked perfectly to fix the same issue that I'd just discovered :D Thanks!
Glad to hear it.
