I recently purchased 2x XDJ 1000, updated firmware to 1.05.
For some reason at some points of a track the tempo is changed drastically. For example a track that comes to an end can all of the sudden drop from 120 to 100 when drums isn't present. It can happen when ever though, I just recorded a video clip when the track increased from 120 to 160 for no apparent reason. The other player wasn't playing anything.
Maybe I have missed some setting but so far I've tested to disable Sync/Master, Master Tempo, Quantize, none of them seems to resolve it though.
Rekordbox shows the correct BPM. I have the DJM 900 Nexus mixer.
I also have a minor issue, still abit annoying. When I add a track in player 2 it starts to play instantly. I fixed this issue on player 1 by setting Play mode to Single. This dosen't have any effect on player 2 though.
I'd like to share some feedback about this product also which I only wish was added features in some firmware update.
* Touch screen could be better, like scrolling through tunes with your finger instead of the knob. This would be more intiutive and practical since it could be done much faster, also I am worried about the amount scrolling I do that knob will not last very long...
* I'd wish adjusting the beat grid could be solved a little easier somehow. Like its now it can take several minutes of scrolling the knob to find the correct place to set the correct beat. This means even more wear and tear on the poor knob. I feel really sorry for it already.
* I were a bit horrified about the waveform display when I got this gear. It gives very little visual information. But others manage so.. hmm
* How about adding Genre in the Browse menu? Sometimes you just want to switch fast to something completly different, this would ease it. I understand that I need to work on my Rekordbox playlists more but sometimes you just want to go with the flow :)
I know what I am asking is perhaps not possible. For me though coming from Traktor 2.6 it feels there is some lack of intuivity, therefor the feedback.

@Felix > This topic is now almost a year old and there have been updates to both the XDJ-1000 firmware (v1.10 - November 2016) / drivers (v1.50 - August 2016), and Traktor. Please ensure you're using the latest of all of these, and if you still have issues, post a new topic and we'll be happy to assist.

Sounds a bit strange this one. Few questions:
1. What style/kind of track is it (got a link or name for it so we can listen?) Is it happening with more than one file/track?
2. Does the same happen in recordbox software when playing it back? (I assume it's been analysed in Recordbox?)
3. Have you checked the beat grid in recordbox - does it look sensible?
As for your auto play settings. Which player is it that you plug your usb drive into? I wonder how you set your preferences on the player. Do you set then manually then plug in your usb or do you rely on the settings being pulled over from the settings you may have saved on the usb from recordbox. One possibly could be that you're not using the option to load settings correctly and that this is screwing with the settings you desire.

It seems today when I have been looking in to the tracks more in Rekordbox I noticed that it was an issue with the analysis in Rekordbox. I can't understand how I have missed to see it before, its been troubling whole week.
I did a reanalysis of the tracks with normal mode and it works now.
As for the Single mode issue it's also resolved. I used Rekordbox to change the setting in Player 2. Did not know you could do settings for the XDJ:s in the gui.
I also found in the settings in Rekordbox how to add more categorys to the player, so I now have Genre in the browse menu. There are some really fancy stuff over there that I will need to look in to more :)
Regarding rest of the feedback I think too it belongs to the other thread so i see this thread as resolved.

Hey Guys,
i have the same problem with my XDJ's and Traktor!
The weird thing is, this problem only appears with the XDJ's! The CDJ 2000 NXS2 play the same tracks without problems.
Another XDJ problem is, that it starts to jump to different points (no fix cue points, just random points) in the Track while it's paused!
