played tracks on xdj r1

I don't understand the question.  Can you please clarify?

Yes; a check-mark appears to the left of the track name.

Okay, so it looks like I was thinking of the XDJ-AERO which does tag a check-mark, but the R1 doesn't mark a track as played even when using the remotebox app, sorry!
