Hi,

Yes I have, I am suspecting that as Pioneer technician you should already know whats the issue as this is well known issue and few other reported this already  hire on this website but for some reason...the option for reply is disabled. As loyal Pioneer customer since over 20 years i deserved for proper answer

Could you be so kind and tell me whats wrong with the mixer  is power connector or something else ?

Regards

Jan

I have this little mixer too with the 'power' problem...A slight movement of the power plug or cord at the back of it, and it cuts out.  I've owned it for 4 years and it never really bothered me as I only mix in my own space, but have been asked to do a party and I don't think I can trust it now.

Has anyone tried fixing this?  On mine the power plug is a little loose, so I am going try and fix it by making the connector more tight, to prevent any movement.   I've tried a different adapter but it's hard to find a 5V 3A power adapter - ones I've tried don't seem to work because the unit must have some sort of power protection circuitry.

Otherwise I will just use my ancient Numark DM1175 that I bought in 1992.  It's a rock-solid old-school mixer.

Hi,

First of all this mixer is maybe low cost but not low quality, you don't know what you are talking about DJ KIKI all components are top notch. They simply stopped selling this model because a lot people bought it instead of 800-900s and they lost money.

G Webb-

I could not find a new connector as well, Simply remove a connector and you have to solder a cable directly to board. Best of luck

I am not happy with support on this web they always sending ''Please contact technical support in your region for further assistance'' even they know what is the problem, this is

Shit support!!

Dont tell me that you spent few minutes to set it up just to take a picture... :)

Ok the components are not the same as in higher models of pioneer or  A&H but still compare price to quality are very good,

I have been using a lot of pioneer mixers, and i know what I talking about.

And if you run 'professional audio service' you should not providing incorrect info :

I have two DJM-250, my friend have one, they all have same problem, so relax, you can't do anything about it :D

Yes you can,

Cheers.

Dear DJs from all over the planet, I have great news. Since Pioneer didn't solve the problem of building the DJM-250 mixer, I solved it myself. It's a shame so many people have this engineering problem that Pioneer didn't make a recall to fix it.
I managed to solve it by squeezing a little (lightly) the power supply plug (2.1mm X 5.5mm) with pliers so that the inside part (positive pole) does not come off the pin when you touch the power cable plugged into the rear panel. I've had this problem with my equipment for ten years and only today I was able to solve it with simple pliers. Shameful.
Sincerely, DJ Zelé from Brazil
