New CDJ 2000 Nexus 2 load track issues???? (HELP)

It appears when I have a track on player 1 and 2, and say I want to change to a different track on player 2, when I find a track and load it, if I press a cue button it goes back to the previous track I had loaded. Why is it doing this? It's annoying, and I think I remember this happening on my old 2000 nexus. I've had my new 2000's for 2 weeks, and I have a few gigs coming up and don't want this to happen live. What do I need to do to stop this? I simply want to change tracks flawlessly.

I can confirm this happening with XDJ-1000 as well.
When loading a track in the Player it loads the Hot Cues correctly. When using the 'skip track' button to move to the next track, the track got loaded and can be started with the Play / Pause button. But the Hot Cue bank isn't loaded with the Hot Cues from the new track. The Hot Cues from the old track remain loaded.
When using the Hot Cues it jumps back to the previous track loaded.

When loading the new track by using the 'back' button and select the new track from the Playlist with the selection wheel, the Hot Cue bank ist loaded correctly.

To me this looks like a bug in the Software of the Player. Not sure how the other Players behave.... but CDJ-2000nxs2 and XDJ-1000 seem to behave the same....

@BriChi.

Just saw your Reply after I submitted mine....
Auto Cue is 'Memory' for my XDJ-1000.

Checked the rekordbox Settings and it says 'Hot Cue Auto load' = 'rekordbox setting'. I switched it to 'Active'. Let's see if this makes a different. Will let you know.

auto cue needs to be activated on the screen for the track to go to the correct cue when you hit the cue button

as far as your ABC hot starts, those only load when you load a track via the scroll knob, using the track forward and back buttons does not load hot cues, the only player i see that loads all the hot cues when using forward and back buttons are the 2000NXS2's and i actually find it annoying being i use those button to quickly browse through tracks in a playlist but now i have to wait for 6 or so cues to load before i can listen to a few seconds of a track but oh well

you need to see the ACUE lit up on the screen above the time for it to be working properly

@BriChi

Auto Cue is activated but it doesn't work. On my XDJ-1000 the Auto Cue sympbol in the Screen got a white colour. If I deactivate the Auto Cue isn't indicated in the Screen.

What Player are you using and what Firmware Version?

Thanks

that pic is from a 1000

I personally use the cdj-2000, 2000NXS and 2000NXS2 and never have an issue with auto cue so not too sure what to tell ya, maybe capture a video on what is going on so Pioneer can see where the fault may be

When pressing 'Call' manually the Hot Cues are loaded for the actual track. I am wondering if this is a 'feature' or a bug ....

@BriChi.
Thanks for your help. This is really strange behaviour and I was curious if this is because of my Settings.

Meanwhile I created a complete new USB Stick and it behaves the same...

Maybe Pulse or someone from Pioneer got another idea...

I Think this was describing the same issue - but it is an old post. Wondering if this is still the case or not.

IF you load your track using the |< or >| buttons, the auto-loading is ignored as this is a performance priority. If you browse for your track using the standard menu, it will auto load based hot cues on the preference.

Thanks Pulse.

So it is a feature. Thanks for clarifying.

Yes, unfortunately it's one of those performance aspects that aren't documented down to the letter.
