Have the XDJ-RX - tips for playing on CDJ2000 Nexus for first time

I have all my stuff analyzed in rekordbox and on USB.  I also have the setting to auto load cue points on CJS.

Any tips for playing on CDJs for first time coming from the XDJ rx?

Thanks

Definitely watch some youtube tutorials.

Ive done the opposite, gone from 2000's to RX and the RX is super easy to mix on due to the stacked waveforms, (you can see when and where the tracks rise and fall).

2000's the waveforms are separated, so it makes the visual task more difficult. In this instance it all comes down to knowing your music, or if you have a definite playlist order, you can set some 'mix points' (cue points) and use them as indicators for when to hit play on the next track, for a perfectly timed transition which you have practiced at home :)

good luck and have funnnnnn..!!

thanks for the repy, I was totally fine on the decks.  Turns out 1 was a CDJ 2000 the other a CDJ 2000 nxs.

I have all my stuff analyzed in rekorbox, the nexus worked perfectly, the 2000 saw my hot cues as like memory points so I couldn't use hot cues on that deck.  It at least had the first downbeat of the tune marked so it was easy to press play and go w/ it.

There was also no way to sync so I was fine doing it by ear which I've done for a while and do so now as I have both turntables hooked into my XDJ-RX.
