Also, if just leaving them on for hours at home whilst I'm on and off practicing will contribute to unnecessarily wearing the decks down prematurely.

FolgenHow long can Pioneer decks + mixer be safely left on for?
I can't actually seem to find a good response anywhere!
Obviously Pioneer decks can be on for hours, I know that, but I'm just wondering if anyone has more information about some of the conditions mixers and cdjs can perform in. I have 2x CDJ2000nexus and a DJM750. (soon to be upgraded to djm900nxs2)
They've been used at medium sized parties and at home where they have sometimes been on for about 12/13 hours with no issues but using them for more than 3/4 hours I always get a bit concerned and I would just like some peace of mind someone confirming they can be on for how ever many hours without the risk of breaking, shutting down or dropping audio etc.
I know if there isn't airflow then this will contribute to inefficient heat loss etc.
Any insight into the conditions that these decks can operate it are appreciated, Thanks!

I would say they could be left on permanently.
The club I work for never turns the sound system off. The whole system is left running 24/7, 365.
I would turn the mixer and CDJ's off if I'm the last dj on that night but they are turned back on first thing Monday by the owner who plays music all day and left on till I get round to turning them off weeks or months later depending on the roster.
The CDJ 1000's then 2000's then NXS's have never once given us trouble in 9 years.
The mixer did once but that was drink related, otherwise solid as a rock.
Yep kudos to Pioneer they do make good club gear.
