DJM 2000 sound card question

Hello community,

I've had a DJM 2000 for a few months now and it's a dream come true. I just love everything about it.

One of the things I use it for is the fact that I can run my Maschine straight into one of the channels without using an external sound card. Here is also where my question lies.

When I use the mixer as a sound card for maschine it works great and the sound quality is great.

Today I wanted to record one of my finger drumming routines. I opened my Maschine software and assigned the mixer as a main output devise, then I opened quicktime (running c920 camera) and sent the audio from the mixer to the video recording in order to capture the video and audio together. As soon as I did that the audio quality coming from Maschine decreased. It sounded as if I've applied a crush effect on it. Also when I opened my video recording the audio was pitched up and sped up quite substantially.

That being said, if I go back to Maschine's audio settings, and reconfigure the sound settings everything goes back to normal until I restart quicktime again. I also tested this with OBS and the effect is the same.

I also noticed that I don't have to record to affect the audio coming from Maschine, it changes as soon as I assign the mixer as an audio device on the other application.

Would any of you be able to give me some advice, it will be greatly appreciated?

Thanks

Angel

Sorry for the delayed response.  Have you got this sorted yet or do you still need some help?
