Good luck with that , You need 32 bit programs to run this , I was gutted when i found this out . They never tell you this !!! i still cant record

What even if all the drivers are 64 bit doesn't make sense

Yes , Whatever program you are using you need to find 32 bit version ,They promised the 64 bit drivers for months still nothing , I found this out after pulling my hair out and not much help with a bit of arrogance . I use ableton to record now , my Magix audio studio does not work . Still annoyed that i payed over £1800 and you cant record , NOT GOOD !!!

Sorry, I can't comment regarding Windows - I'm on Mac.

You mean Windows 64-bit drivers, like this? You'd be amazed what you can find in the product support section. ;-)

That's the one I've got but says it's 32bit

I can confirm that this driver is just for some kind of Windows recognizing the mixer. Does not work at all if you want to record via usb. We have to wait...

That's what drivers do–they allow an OS to recognize a device and configure it properly.

Dan–what version of Windows are you using and are you using the Pioneer NXS2 utility? What program are you trying to use to record your set?

Disregard the question about the program you're using–I just noticed you're using Sony Sound Forge. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Magix obtain Sony's audio editing software? If that's the case, have you tried recording using Magix Sound Forge to see if you're still unable to record? I believe your serial number should seamlessly transfer to the newer software (assuming it's legit).

You should be able to use the software in conjunction with the Pioneer NXS2 Utility to define one of the mixer's channels as an "internal input" that would enable Sound Forge to use it as a source to capture the audio.

I'm also puzzled as to how you've got the current driver installed yet it's still showing it's 32-bit; that driver is specifically a 64-bit driver.

Yeah I've done all that with sf but with the driver when it's open and bring up the task manager it says 32bit

I know lostnthesound :) But this driver stays to the recognizing only. The mixer doesn't even show up in the recording programs etc.

Well damn. That's certainly odd. I'll have to defer to @Pulse @Mark as they are probably better equipped to handle this as my expertise is primarily MacOS. Sorry gents.

No problem but I'm sure it can be sorted one way or another

Did any one get this working?  I'm in the same boat, W7x64 and Soundforge 11.  The drivers work fine, the device is detected by windows and the settings utility detects the mixer, ie moving the channel selector on the mixer changes the software.

The audio shows fine in Rekordbox and I can record from there but windows doesn't detect any volume on the recording device in control panel so therefore nothing shows in Soundforge.  Are we stuck to only record in Rekordbox?

*** EDIT *** - Solved
Just open "PC Master Out Asio Settings Utility" and then windows has volume :)  Should have played a bit more before posting :)

I need to do a bit more testing, it seems a bit hit and miss at the moment.  I think the key is to open Rekordbox, record something in there, close rekordbox and then windows see's the volume.  I will confirm that a little later

Yeah I had that then it wouldn't work at all I think the drivers aren't quite right cause you shouldn't have to do anything in rekordbox
