Opus Quad startup issue and wifi issue

I just got my opus quad not too long ago and coming from the RX2 I'm loving it so far, but I am having an issue with startup. When it boots up, I see the sources screen, and it instantly freezes. Turning the knob does nothing and all of the channel volume lights are illuminated. If I wait long enough it will restart itself and I'll see the splash screen again. It will just keep restarting itself. How I get it to start is to power it off again, unplug my rekordbox USB library, power it on, don't turn the knob on the sources screen, and go directly to reconnecting my wifi. I have a feeling that it has something to do with it booting up with my USB plugged in otherwise I don't think I can get to the wifi settings in the first place. The USB has both an exported library with the new database+ or whatever it's called and the CloudDirectPlay key.

I also find it strange that every time I turn it on I have to go to the wifi settings and reconnect my wifi even though it's a saved wifi connection with the password. Is that how it's supposed to operate?

One of the first things I did after I got it was update the firmware to the 1.10 version, so I'm not sure if it's a bug in the new firmware.

I put this under the XDJ topic since there's no Opus Quad topic.

does it do it if you eject your usb before you power it down and back on again? I would never leave a usb connected on shutdown/restart, I could be wrong but I think that's asking for trouble

@george I'd have to assume that it would work fine since even if I don't eject it I can start it back up by taking the USB out.

You shouldn't have to take the USB out every time. Imagine if you had to eject everything that is plugged into your computer before shutting it down. The shutdown and startup process should handle it. It worked fine this way when I had my xdj-rx2. I only need to unplug my usb when I add new music to it. Having to unplug it every time is annoying. But I guess that's what I have to do now. Hoping this gets fixed with a firmware update.
