...but the answer is yes. Within Traktor you could use any number of MIDI devices and any audio device you want.
Hi to the support team,
Does anyone know if I can use my xdj-rx in midi mode and Traktor Pro 2 as a software and an external audio interface like Scarlett 6i6 ??
Thanks in advance,
Sacha

Not sure why you would want to use an external sound card.
Hi Pulse , Hi Mark,
Thx for your answer.
Pulse, ok then...do you know how should I connect my external audio device with the xdj-rx???
Thx in advance for your answer !!!!

Wait wait wait ... you want to run the audio output from the Focusrite ... into the RX? In that case, why not just use the audio interface within the RX?
Hi Pulse,
Thx for your reply,
Well the xdj-rx is running well nothing to complain.
It's just that I want to run from Focusrite into the Rx and using Traktor Pro, I just want to see if that's possible.
Could you please tell me how should I make the connecitons getting it to work ???
Best regards,
You can run directly from Traktor into the RX via its USB audio interface, thus negating the need for the Focusrite and an unnecessary digital > analog and analog > digital conversion.
If you REALLY want to run it, connect the two LINE OUTPUTS from the Focusrite into the line inputs on the RX. 1&2 into CH1, and 3&4 into CH2. Switch the input selector on the face of the RX to LINE and away you go.
Thx a lot Pulse ,
Best regards ;-)
Hi Pulse,
Everything works perfectly, and I've conntected everthing like you said.
The only issue that I have, is my left channel volume is lower than the right channel.
I mean if I'm playing the same Track on left and right there is a difference between the Channels.
I've checked everthing twice if maybe something wrong with connections but ...no... connections are fine.
Have you got an idea what it can be ? Or maybe I'm missing something ??
In advance thx for your reply !!!
Have a good day
Have you tried adjusting the gain for that channel?
Hi Phil,
Yes my both Channel Gains are on 12 o'clock on my XDJ-RX !!
You mean L/R balance on one channel input... that's likely the problem of your Focusrite, try adjusting it within their software control panel.
Hi Pulse,
Thx...for your support !!!
Yes the problem is that I have to put the Big Monitor Gain of Channel 1-2 to max to get the same volume like Channel 3-4.
And it's not possible to change it with their Software.
But it work !!!!!
Best regard to you all
