FolgenRekordbox _ USB stick question
Ok I was traveling the last two weeks and played at 3 venues. All had CDJ 2000's. I brought with me some USB sticks that were compiled using Rekordbox. it had my tracks cue and memory points for each track on it. However when I loaded the sticks into each of the CDJ 2000's at the venues I saw most of my cue points did not show up as well as memory points. When I used the loop feature all the loops were off. I had to improvise and got thru it but I need to know why this happened? Did I miss a message which lets me know if I should save the perameters on the sticks rather than the ones on the deck? I would think it has something to do with this. Anybody???

OK Let me be more specific as I thought this would have been answered already.
I have tracks in Rekordbox on my desktop. I played abroad so I had to take those tracks and export to a USB stick. BEFORE I did this I made sure that the tracks were all loop able ( alot of old disco ) and I have cue points A B and also some memory loops.
These ALL work perfect when using RekordBox from the desktop so I exported the tracks to a USB stick.
I played 4 times on 4 different sets of CDJ2000's using the sticks ( No RekordBox) on ALL decks alot of loops were off, cues were missing as well as memory spots.
Now I came home and used the sticks with NO Rekordbox and the loops are perfect as well as the memory and cues.
Is it possible the cdjs I was playing on need firmware updates?????
I need to know why this happened to me so I know for next time, anybody?
Which gear do you have at home?
Firmware might be the case but that would be very odd if it happens on 4 different setups.
These were CDJ2000s right not NXS units?
Home Rekordbox 6.74
2 cdj 2000nxs
On the road either 2000 or 2000 NSX not sure is this something I need to know in the future what's the difference also wil i have this problem loading sticks into 3000's?
Obviously on the road I used USB sticks so no Rekordbox. I was messing with the sticks last night and I see that when you load the sticks there is a message My settings data found push menu to load. I would think this maybe the problem as in the middle of a place with thousands of ppl, distractions and other things I do not remember if I ever pushed the menu to load my settings which would make sense. I need to be sure because I go back on the road in October and I cannot afford to have this happen again. Any suggestions?
Hot Cue, Memory Cue, and Loop should work regardless of firmware version, but you could check the firmware at the venue.
Were you using the same CDJ-2000 model at the venue and at home for sure?
Did the issue occur with multiple USB drives? If it occurred with one USB drive, maybe the issue occurred coincidentally.
