I've moved to Rekordbox lately and there's one thing that I don't quite understand.. why can't I search through Filename ? It is known that a lot of the the time the ID3 Tag doesn't represent the actual filename and vice versa.. please add it 🙏

While an additional option for search is always welcome, I am asking just for my curiosity.
Are you not maintaining your database / ID Tags for your files? To me this is a key criteria in a database like rekordbox. Therefore, I am not depending on the search by file name.
I know everyone is working differently, so this should not be offensive.

I try to keep my database organized and you're correct, the search should work most of the times.. but sometime you download a big batch of songs and not always the ID3 tag represent the filename correctly.. didn't you encounter in files that has no ID3 tag for example? or just website instead of tag? also, my database is around 40-50k songs.. as much as I try not everything is written correctly .. anyways - ALL other softwares do have this option..
My database is 40k, all properly tagged :-) But I must admit that I manage the digital music for about 20 years ;-)
Me also :) but to tell you the truth ? my main reason for wanting this feature is because I have files written in hebrew.. and since I moved from Traktor to Rekordbox all my hebrew is written backwards (there's an right to left problem in traktor), so my id3 tag is backwards and the filename is normal.. rekordbox support hebrew so i wanted to have the option to search in hebrew :) i have a workaround now but it would be a good feature and i guess it's easy to implement ..
