XDJ-XZ - Windows - No Sound
Hi,
I installed the driver and I want to use my XZ as the main soundcard (the internal soundcard is slow), however there's no sound because I cannot chose which output I want to use with windows.
Please tell me it's not designed this way and I can select an output.
Why?
I need youtube and Ableton the same time, and I want to use the XZ as sound card. Ableton has sound output because I can select output, but the windows driver doesn't allow me to select from the outputs. I hope it's just my mistake and I am not forced to use some random output by design...

You record your performance using Serato while the bug is happening, does the recorded output also have out-of-sync FX?

The XDJ-XZ can be used as Windows’ main soundcard, but you need to set it as the default playback device in Sound Settings; if it doesn’t appear, reinstalling the driver or using ASIO can help. It’s not by design—you’re not forced to use a random output. UK xxbrits users often fix this by updating drivers and enabling ASIO for Ableton and system sounds.
