Is it possible to automate the start/end points?

Yes! Go to the sample playback page. Hold down a trig and move the knob that is labelled "start" - that particular sample location will get "locked" to that trig
Watch this video about trigs, might help...
I've tried this but it doesn't record the movements? I'll watch the vid again maybe I'm missing a step...
Oh sorry, no it doesn't record automation movements of the knobs but you can lock values to trigs. Not quite the same as you were asking, but it's something at least!
No worries the triggers are great for now... maybe it might work with the LFO they have promised with the next OS... would be cool to be able to glitch the samples via LFO and start/end...
