mic noise

when no music is playing on my XDJ-RX I can hear a crackling sound when I have the mic switch in the on position when I turn the mic switch off it stops, this also has been effecting my mic when I'm talking on the mic I cant turn the level very high or I get feed back....this dose not effect music play back.. I have only had my XDJ-RX for about 6 months and this has been like this since I got it new... is my Unit defective?

This sounds to me like an internal hardware issue; please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have the unit serviced.

Yes.... I get the noise even if no mic is plugged in

So I think, I THINK, it has a broken ground wire some where.
But a Pioneer tech should answer this question.
Maybe Pulse or someone?

It's just an idea, but the power socket in the wall has a correct ground wiring?

I have the exact same problem. Also noise even when no mic is connected.
