Nope, sorry, you can't protect them as that would be counter-productive to DJing!
You can always store / recall them for multiple tracks, that is an advanced performance feature for DJs who like to jump all around their collection quickly.
I recently got my new Xdj 1000s and so I'm getting started with hot cues. Two things I want to ask: is it possible to protect hot cues from accidentally overwriting an existing one (currently when saving a hot cue to a already set one, the old is overwritten without warning.
And one strange thing: when I play a track where I have set two hot cues the loaded a new track without any: now I'm going into perform - hotcue - record, there's already hot cue b set (when I call it its hot cues from the last track). Even if I press "call" hot cue b is still from the last track as long as I set a new hot cue b on the current song. Shouldn't the not set hot cues be empty (hot cue c is always empty as long as i set one).
edit: is it possible to double a deck onto the other player (like in Traktor) - so that the same track that runs on Player 1 instantly runs on player 2, same position and in sync ?
