ive done everything i was told to do and it s still not working. The old version was fine i shouldnt have to change any settings its only happened since it updated last week how can i roll back
UPDATE this is only happening when i use four decks.
I'm having the same issue with Rekordbox 7.0.9 + DDJ-GRV6 + Windows 11, using external audio interface (RME Babyface Pro FS) over ASIO. Running at 96kHz, I have to crank the buffer all the way to 4096 samples (42.7ms, crazy latency) to avoid the crackling while the track does the thin-blue-bar analysis - whatever is that anyway and why does it have to happen every time I load the same track?
The computer should be able to handle this without breaking a sweat - Ryzen 5950X with 32GB RAM, and I'm not even going into the unparalleled RME audio drivers that (outside Rekordbox) run without skipping a beat even under 64 samples buffer.
Whatever that analysis is, it's not properly decoupled from whatever the process that runs the realtime audio.
Also it would be nice if I didn't have to use ASIO, but as long as Rekordbox is unable to use separate audio devices for playback and headphones, it will have to do (RME drivers present each channel pair as a separate, independent audio device under windows).
Blue line when loading is probably STEMS (if you don't use turn it off under settings -> extensions -> STEMS -> enable the STEMS function)
"Fix" for my stutters, pops and crackles on my Ryzen 5950X with 32GB RAM system was turning off: settings -> Extensions -> STEMS -> Multi-thread -> Apply multi-thread to the analysis process option.
That does sound linked to the latest update. Have you tried increasing the audio buffer size or reverting to the previous version to check if the issue disappears?
Have you attempted enlarging the audio buffer or going back to the earlier version to see if that fixes the problem? geometry dash
this was January 2024 and it fixed after an update.
