because the cdj's are designed for standalone use, most people use them with USB sticks or use the free version of RB and drag and drop tracks right to the decks. To use the NXS2's to just control RB DJ is a waste of money for all the standalone featured you are paying for the CDJ, If i was you i would either use RB in export mode linked to the decks or sell them all and just get a DDJ-1000 type controller and you will be up a ton of money

FolgenNXS2 & recordbox
Hi,
I’ve been use Traktor for 8 years and now i’m thinking change to Recordbox.
There is one thing i can’t understand. I bought 2x CDJ2000NXS2 players and DJM-S9 mixer. These cost a lot of money and i still have to pay 139 € for Recordbox!?!?!
And you get it free when you buy 1000 € controller

Buy a DDJ-XP1 and you also get RekordBox DVS licence included and this unit only costs £229 retail.
As BriChi says the CDJs are primarily for standalone use and of course the S9 is a mixer designed to be used with Serato so that's probably why the software isn't included. Had you bought DJM mixer designed for standalone use e.g. 250, 450, 750, 900 etc then they all come with the full RekordBox software.
Can I ask why you have purchased a mixer designed for Serato if you want to use RekordBox?
