Rekordbox Video - Still Shockingly bad

I thought I'd give the new beta a go to see if it had improved.  Answer - big fat NO.

I had been using Virtual DJ for 5 years and changed to Rekordbox Video in October with a new purchase of an XDJ-RX2.  By December I was back with Virtual DJ.  Why? Well..

Rekordbox Video drops frames all over the place - jerky, even on a medium setting.  Virtual DJ plays the same videos smoothly without issue (at full resolution I might add)

Rekordbox Video will not display all videos with a correct aspect ratio.  Some 4:3 videos still have a black bar at the top and bottom.  The only way to get them to fill the screen (stretched) is to select the lowest quality setting.  Even some 16:9 videos don't fill the whole screen.  Virtual DJ will display 4:3 as 4:3 or stretched.

Rekordbox Video still doesn't allow mixed playlists (mentioned millions of times)

Rekordbox Video does not support VOB files - Virtual DJ does.

Rekordbox Video ****STILL**** can't have the software in fullscreen mode when outputting to a screen or TV

Sorry this is Rekordbox Video bashing but you guys are so far away from having a usable product.  The focus is still on audio for you it seems but honestly people, if you were thinking of paying $150 for the Video addon then don't bother.  I wouldn't use it even if it was free as the experience is terrible.

Oh and this forum - I always end up looping back to the login pagewhen trying to login - Safari / Chrome.  It's so annoying.  It is by pure chance that a login works.  The design of this forum too is about 10 years out of date.

I think i've gone the same way.. still i have a problem with video, but it is a little bit better than at the beginning of rekordbox. Now i try Lyrics function and requirements for it is not so big like video, but it loads my MacBook 2 times more than video function..why?

Also have many problems to log into the forum.

As for the login issues, we had some problems with our SSO server last week, they should be resolved now after clearing your browser cache & cookies.
