XDJ-RX2 Version 1.23 Bug: Channel cue sound issues after pausing deck

Hi,

I am experiencing a bit of a weird issue/bug.

If I have a channel cue selected, load a track to that channel and then pause the playback, I can hear sound from the deck just looping (almost as if a 1/4th beat loop or something)

This is present even when using the jog wheel to move around the track, while it is paused.

If I load the track into the cued deck and just pres the cue button, I do not have the issue.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

You have disabled vinyl mode and what you're hearing is called "stutter cue;" this is how CDJs used to find a cue point before vinyl mode existed. This is perfectly normal, but if you prefer the other method, re-enable vinyl mode.

I am relatively new to DJing, but I've been a musician my whole life and, while I can understand why this "stutter" function was once useful, it's not necessary now and I don't understand why the default isn't the opposite setting. I also don't like how Rekordbox doesn't make the hot cues gated on CDJs or stand-alone players. We should at least have that option, but, thus far, I can only achieve this when the controller is tethered to my computer (can't export this setting to the controller). If there is a way around this disappointment, please let me know. The auto-play hot cue function drives me insane LoL I don't understand why anyone thought that was a good idea. Literally the only thing I can currently say I liked better about my Serato setup is their gated hot cue function. You guys have the technology and the coders available to make this very simple (and what I believe should be universal) function available. If you can give me a good reason why you don't offer this function, I am all ears.
