Yes, redbook CD audio was 75frames per second, with newer CDJs being able to split that again for 150 frames of accuracy. With rekordbox, the CDJ-2000 was capable of 1 millisecond accuracy (for reference, 1 frame = 13.3ms), so roughly 6x more accurate than CD audio. But what you're asking isn't exactly about "frames per second," you're asking about the resolution of the jog. If you move your DDJ-RB slow enough, you are able to get extremely precise movement.
Where / how is it you're finding the precision to be "terrible"?
