DVS with one deck :)
Hi
I am just about to jump into the world that is Rekordbox DVS...
At the moment, i can only afford to buy a DJM 250 mk2 with a DDJ-SP1 and 1 x PLX 1000 Turntable... So here is my question and apologies in advance if this has been asked before but i cannot find the exact answer...
Is it possible for me to use DVS with just 1 turntable? i am pretty sure the function is called instant doubling...
I have only seen videos of people performing this with 2 x decks
The bit i cant figure out is lets say you instant Deck 1 to Deck 2, when you press Stop on Deck 1, where does Deck 2 pick up a signal?

It's known as "amputate mode" -- you load a track, start playing it, then "instant double" that track over to the other deck (so the same song is playing on both virtual decks), change the faders over to the other channel, then load the new song to the channel with the turntable, mix, repeat.

this solution with instant doubles work really fine , i use a DJM250MKII with one PLX500 , very nice
