The hardware trim knobs don't affect the virtual trim knobs. Use the hardware knobs to keep the hardware meter levels around the 0dB mark and you should be fine.

Trim Control Problems with DDJ-SR in Serato
hi!
i have a problem with my trim control knobs. i have auto gain turned on in serato, but it will always be too loud and the volume level in red. if i move the trim control on my ddj-sr, serato wont recognize it and the virtual trim control stays where it was. so if i wanna know if i am in red or green, i always have to adjust the trim with the mouse in serato. how can i fix that? i dont know if this is a serato or ddj-sr problem. i have the latest serato software and i use windows 10 on a sony vaio.
