Have you checked to make sure you are not running the newest update? Also what are the USB drives formatted to?

Can't update firmware CDJ2000nxs2
I've tried 3 different USB's but each time my CDJ hangs at "Connect USB storage device into top USB port. Each USB obviously has the update file on it

also confirm on the flash drive that the file name is C2KNXS2.UPD and not something like C2KNXS2_1.UPD. If you had an old FW version on your computer and download a new one it will rename it with a 1 and you may not have caught it
Also on my CDJ's i noticed that the only format that works for the updates is FAT32. I dont know what formats the cdj should be able to handle for the update but HFS never worked, only FAT32
